ENGINEER IN TRAINING

HYDAC has been located in Bethlehem, PA since 1975. We are a stable company and have seen tremendous growth over the past five years. We are expanding our operation capability in Bethlehem and are looking for the right people to join out growing team! We are currently looking for an Entry level Engineer for our Bethlehem PA facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to sales, marketing, purchasing, and manufacturing departments.
  • Participate in the development of product catalogs and promotion literature.
  • Develop assembly and detail drawings, conceptual designs, bill of material, and perform respective hydraulic, stress and kinematics analysis.
  • Work with lab personnel on product performance and verification tests, conduct tests if needed and analyze test results.
  • Establish product acceptance criteria.
  • Assist the quality and production departments in the development of procedures and with instructions.
  • Develop DFMEA and PFMEA
  • Assist the sales department in solving field problems, clarifying customer requirements and technical product support.
  • Following established quality system procedures and work instructions.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
  • Knowledge of Solid Works
  • Working knowledge of PC
  • Minimum Travel Required

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

HYDAC has been located in Bethlehem, PA since 1975. We are a stable company and have seen tremendous growth over the past five years. We currently have an immediate opening for a Customer Service Associate in our Bethlehem PA facility. The ideal candidate will assist in handling customer accounts including processing of orders, forecast requirements from customers and proactively resolving customer concerns.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide account support for OEM accounts.
  • Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining and reporting of all order status for assigned customers.
  • Manage customer transactions which via phone, email and web portals.
  • Perform various clerical functions to analyze and support customer accounts.
Required Experience:
  • Must have outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Computer literate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is a Plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED accepted with applicable experience.

SUPERVISOR ENGINEERING LAB

Over the past five years HYDAC has seen tremendous growth. Based on this continued growth we are currently seeking a Lab Supervisor to work in our Bethlehem facility.

Duties:

  • Supervise and maintain day to day lab operations.
  • Provide technical support to the sales, marketing, and manufacturing department.
  • Represent the company to develop standards on the national vs. international levels such as NFPA or ISO.
  • Assist the sales department in solving field problems, clarifying customer requirements, and technical product support.
  • Supervise calibration activities of customer product.
  • Provide and establish test data for product performance or customer service tests.
  • Research and develop contamination control methods.
  • Provide and establish test data and specifications for incoming material for the quality or materials department
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Three years of experience in a management or supervisory role within an Engineering Lab setting.

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Due to Continued growth and expansion, HYDAC, a leading manufacturer in the fluid power industry is seeking to fill a 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm) or 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am) Maintenance Technician position.

Duties:

  • Responsible for supporting all automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Preventative maintenance and repairs to machinery.
  • Support production and maintenance improvement projects, and maintain spare parts inventory for all equipment.
  • General facilities/building and grounds maintenance.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
  • Candidates will have 2 or more years' experience in the following areas in a manufacturing environment:
  • Industrial Electricity
  • Industrial Controls
  • Pneumatics
    - The Following Skills would be a Plus
    - Ultrasonic Welding
    - Automated Fluid Dispensing.
    - Packing Machinery.
    - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing philosophies and techniques.
    - Basic PC/ Windows operation is required, ability to use programs such as Word, Excel, outlook.
