Description
HYDAC ECOmicron-fit
® elements are environmentally compatible Betamicron® elements that provide an excellent replacement for competitors' fully synthetic inserts including conventional filter elements and coreless elements. These elements are designed for hydraulic or lubrication applications where crushable or incinerable elements are necessary. These filters can be used in recirculation systems and/or lubrication systems for extraction of solid particles from fluids used in industrial processes. They are suitable for most hydraulic and lubrication oils.

  • Compatible with most hydraulic and lubrication fluids. Please consult factory for synthetic fluid use.
  • ECOmicron-fit® elements are interchangeable with PALL® standard cartridges ­ 8300/8310 AND coreless inserts ­ 8304/8314. This saves the customer money and simplifies inventory by replacing two of the competition's element models with one ECOmicron-fit® model.

Benefits
Element Change-Out
HYDAC: Simple element change-out due to the cartridge design that uses a synthetic support tube, thus preventing the element from being axially compressed or extruded.
COMPETITION: Difficult element change-out for coreless element due to media being extruded into inner core, resulting in extended change-out time and reduced productivity. This design oversight also permits media migration to clean side.
Bypass Valve
HYDAC: Bypass valve mounts to top of element which prevents contamination present in the bottom of the filter from passing downstream when the valve opens.
COMPETITION: Bypass valve attached to bottom of the support tube which allows contamination migration when the valve opens.
Element Construction
HYDAC: Media seam ultrasonically welded with a patented HYDAC process which is temperature resistant to 212°F.

Hydraulic Data

  • Temperature Range: -22°F to 212°F (-30°C to 100°C) For high temperature applications, please contact factory.
  • Compatibility with Hydraulic Media Suitable for use with most hydraulic and lubrication fluid. Please consult factory for use with synthetic or rapidly biodegradable fluids.
  • Flow fatigue stability to ISO 3724/76 High fatigue resistance due to solid filter material supports on both sides and high inherent stability of filter materials.
  • Cracking Pressure of Bypass Valve: Delta P = 51 psi ± 7.25 (3.5 bar ± 0.5)
