Applications
RKM multi-function filters for mobile equipment are designed for use in hydraulic systems that employ both an open circuit and a closed hydrostatic circuit(s). A single RKM replaces two conventional filters, including an in-tank return line filter in the open circuit and a suction filter(s) located before the charge pump in the closed hydrostatic circuit. With several models providing a range of flow capacities, RKMÕs are ideal for many types of mobile equipment with a combination of open and closed circuits.

Features

An RKM requires only one mounting hole in the tank and minimizes piping, therefore saving on cost and space.
A built-in check valve in the filter discharge ensures positive pressure (7 psi) at all times in the suction line(s) of the charge pump(s) to prevent pump cavitation.
Fast response, zero leakage bypass valves protect against high differential pressures caused by cold start-ups, flow surges and pressure spikes.
A make-up flow check valve provides oil to the closed circuit pumps on an emergency basis in case of loss of normal system flow.
Various types of clogging indicators are available, with a choice of alternative mounting locations for easy viewing.
